Iain is a seasoned health insurance leader with over 30 years of experience driving profitable growth through sales, marketing, and intermediary distribution in the UK market. He has led high-performing teams at major insurers and served as CEO of a group of intermediaries, delivering strong returns to shareholders. Iain is widely respected for his integrity and strategic leadership, having revitalized insurer-broker relationships and implemented new processes to improve performance. His expertise spans all customer segments—from consumer to large corporate—with a strong focus on SME divisions, where he has owned P&Ls and annual operating plans. Most recently, as Distribution Director at BUPA, the UK’s largest health insurer, he led the business to grow by 1 million lives between 2022 and 2024. He also supported BUPA’s international teams in Hong Kong and Europe with distribution strategy development.
