Alf Theodorou

Alf is an international healthcare specialist with a background in epidemiology, public health sciences and quality improvement. He has a track record of initiating large scale cultural change, quality assessment and quality improvement programs in both the public and private healthcare sector through roles in acute and specialist healthcare providers as well as management consultancy and global health insurance. Alf has been an advocate for the use of clinical performance indicators, including clinical outcomes and patients reported outcomes, to measure quality and ultimately drive improvement. He has over 10 years of experience building assessment frameworks for 3rd parties including insurers and evacuation companies focused on understanding the quality of care provided by hospitals. This has included working on over 400 hospital audits and carrying out over 75 onsite clinical reviews (in 20+ countries) across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Central and South America. Alf is passionate about supporting organizations to drive continuous improvement through developing the capabilities of staff in improvement techniques and supporting leadership to drive sustainable cultural change. He is a recognized expert in measuring quality and has provided subject matter expertise to a global programs looking at data-led clinical quality standards. Our Team
